Inconel 725 round bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with excellent strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. It is often used to make round bars that can withstand stress and exposure to heat without deforming or cracking over time.
The ASTM B166 Inconel 725 bright bar offers versatility for many manufacturing uses. Their round shape allows them to be machined into parts like rods, shafts, and fasteners relatively easily. The bars come in standard sizes or can be custom-produced to meet application requirements.
Compared to other alloys, UNS N07725 Half Round Bar retain considerable ductility and toughness despite continual high-temperature service of around 1,000°F or more. They are not prone to becoming brittle and fracturing suddenly when exposed to sustained heating during use. This durability comes from carefully blending and reinforcing nickel, chromium, titanium and aluminium within the Inconel properties.
DIN 2.4668 Polished Bar displays exceptional resistance to numerous formation and oxidation attacks. The chromium in the bars reacts to form a rigid oxide layer protecting the surface. This prevents typical erosion, pitting and cracking when interacting with hot gases or molten materials during processing and in finished components.
