Inconel 625 round bar is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy able to tackle extremely corrosive and heated situations. The high nickel content gives exceptional strength at up to 1,600°F. Added chromium provides great oxidation and corrosion resistance. It withstands reactive decay, from hydrocarbon processing to the salt atmosphere of marine applications.
This combination of properties makes ASTM B166 Inconel 625 Threaded bar the go-to engineering material for aggressive chemical and heat exposure. Parts like heat exchanger tubing, valve components and pump shafts rely on its lasting quality against wear and cracking. It is widely used in oil/gas production, pollution control equipment, and heat-treating furnace elements.

DIN 2.4856 Square Bar stays sturdy, ductile and crack-resistant even down to -423°F. This expands its use to extreme cold applications like LNG storage and transport. Added molybdenum improves corrosion performance than 617 against chlorides, alkalis and other destructive compounds. Careful machining work avoids the rapid work hardening common to nickel alloys that can wear tools quickly.
AMS 5666 Inconel 625 Flat Bar takes on challenges like caustic acids, natural gas fouling, exhaust scrubbing and blast furnace processing environments. Despite operating envelopes often hundreds of degrees wide, it stands up to years of reliable service.
