Werkstoff Nr 2.4856 Bolt, Werkstoff Nr 2.4668 Threaded Rod, ASTM B637 Inconel 718 Fasteners, UNS N07718 Stud Bolt, Werkstoff Nr 2.4668 Fasteners, ASME SB637 Inconel 718 Bolt, ASME SB637 Inconel 718 Hex Nut, ASTM B637 Inconel 718 Nut, ASME SB637 Inconel 718 Hex Nut.
ASTM B637 Inconel 718 Fasteners is a nickel-chromium alloy metal. This metal is used to make fasteners and these are hardware like bolts and screws which join two or more components together.
The level of nickel in nickel products is within the range of 58-63%. The nickel element is the strongest, particularly in high-temperature situations. Inconel contains chromium, the amount of which ranges between 20 and 23%, and therefore, its resistance to corrosion and oxidation is improved.
Molybdenum accounts for 8-10% of the alloy and it increases strength and helps resist pitting. Besides the main elements of niobium and iron small amounts are present.
UNS N07718 Stud Bolt can withstand extreme conditions well. They retain strength at very high temperatures. Inconel is oxidation and corrosion-resistant and it resists attacks from acids, caustics, and solvents.
These properties make Inconel ideal for harsh environments. It is used in chemical plants and oil refineries. Aerospace applications like jet engines use Inconel fasteners and can handle the heat, pressure, and corrosives involved.
Inconel 718 Hex Nut is non-magnetic which is useful. It works in applications needing non-magnetic materials and also medical implants sometimes use Inconel components.
Producing Inconel fasteners involves special techniques. The alloy’s high melting point requires vacuum induction melting and hot and cold forming processes to shape it. Age-hardening heat treatments increase strength further.
These capabilities from its nickel-chromium-molybdenum composition suit Inconel well for critical, high-performance fastening applications across major industries like aerospace, chemical processing, and others.
